  Huntsman Corporation engages in the manufacture and marketing of   differentiated, inorganic, and commodity chemical products. It operates in six   segments: Polyurethanes, Materials and Effects, Performance Products, Pigments,   Polymers, and Base Chemicals. The Polyurethanes segment offers methyl diphenyl   diisocyanate, propylene oxide, polyols, propylene glycol, thermoplastic   polyurethane, aniline, and methyl tertiary-butyl ether. The Materials and   Effects segment offers epoxy resin compounds and formulations; cross linking,   matting, and curing agents; epoxy, acrylic, and polyurethane-based adhesives;   tooling resin formulations; and textile chemicals and dyes. The Performance   Products segment provides amines, surfactants, LAB, maleic anhydride, other   performance chemicals, EG, and technology licenses for use in detergents,   personal care products, agrochemicals, lubricant and fuel additives, adhesives,   paints and coatings, construction, marine and automotive products, and PET   fibers and resins. The Pigments segment offers titanium dioxide products for use   in paints and coatings, plastics, paper, printing inks, fibers, and ceramics.   The Polymers segment offers polypropylene, expandable polystyrene, low density   polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, and APAO for use in flexible and   rigid packaging, adhesives and automotive, medical, and construction products.   The Base Chemicals offers ethylene, propylene, and cyclohexane for use in   packaging films, polyester and nylon fibers, PVC, and polymer resins. The   company sells its products through direct sales force and distributors. The   company serves industries, such as adhesives, aerospace, automotive,   construction products, durable and non-durable consumer products, electronics,   medical, packaging, paints and coatings, power generation, refining, synthetic   fiber, textile chemicals, and dye industries. Huntsman was founded in 1970 and   is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
