Composite Technology Corporation (CTC) (OTC Bulletin Board: CPTC) announced today that its DeWind subsidiary has received an order from Sia Lenkas Energo, for one 2MW DeWind D8 wind turbine for delivery to one of their projects in Latvia. The turbine is scheduled for delivery in mid 2008. DeWind has received an initial down payment and bank guarantees for this order. The turbine will be erected in Liepaja, Latvia in a Wind Zone II location and utilize a standard 80 meter rotor and 80 meter tower.
Benton Wilcoxon, CEO of CTC stated, "This first turbine for Latvia is an important entry into the Baltic states for DeWind. The region holds great promise for many more turbine sales as its economy expanded by almost 12% last year. We see continuing demand for our D8 turbine in the European marketplace as this sale illustrates."

Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB: UTYW) today announced that it has been selected by one of North America's largest wireless manufacturers to develop a new 4G, WiMax-like (UMB - Ultra Mobile Broadband) mobile high speed data product for use in the client's latest mobile broadband base station line, now under development. Unity received the purchase order for the first phase of this program earlier this week.
Rick Byrd, Vice President, Sales for Unity's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) group, commented, "Mobile broadband, or 4G, is the next big push in the wireless industry. Unity is now involved in several of the potential protocols, including WiMax and UMB (Ultra Mobile Broadband). This latest opportunity is a scheduled development that will start with prototype phases, moving to limited production deployment and test in the Fall of 2007, with full production deliveries anticipated for early '08."

Previously, G Mennig worked in India as an associate professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, establishing Plastics Processing in the Chemical Engineer Department from 1970 until 1973. He joined the Plastics Institute, London, and served as vice-chairman of the Madras Centre, as well as serving as head of the Plastics Engineering Section at the German Plastics Institute (Deutsches Kunststoff-Institut, DKI) in Darmstadt and later became it's deputy director.
