After making nearly $17 million last season with the Orlando Magic it looks like Grant Hill may have to cut back on some expenses when he officially signs with the Phoenix Suns.
Agreeing in principle to a two-year deal, Hill will make $1.8 million this season and follow that with close to $2 million the following season.
With James Jones being traded on draft night the Phoenix Suns were looking to fill their need for another small forward. Hill is expected to challenge Boris Diaw for a starting role but of course that depends on Hill’s health. During his six seasons in Orlando the former Duke standout missed 292 games.
