Al Gore's son, Al Gore III was driving a hybrid Toyota Prius 100 mph on the San Diego Freeway on July 4th and was arrested. He was not only speeding but was also in possession of drugs that were not prescribed to him.
The hybrid Toyota Prius has a 100 net horsepower and 82 pound-feet of torque but more interesting is that it returns 60mpg in the city and 51mpg on the highway.
Great gas mileage means that it is good for the environment and falls in line with his father's belief on attacking global warming.
