Toyota Motor Corp, in the first half of 2007, became the second largest seller of new vehicles in the United States market.
The number of units that Toyota has sold was 1,331,074 through June which is up 8.8% from the same period last year. Unlike the other top corporations, GM, Ford, and DaimlerChrysler Corp, that posted declines this year, Toyota is growing.
Other Japanese makers, such as Honda, Nissan, and Mazda were each up as well.
