Three people were injured at the New York-New York casino in Las Vegas on Friday morning after a man opened fire from a walkway above the floor.
The shooting occurred just before 1:00 a.m. as the man entered the casino via a walkway that connects the New York-New York with the MGM Grand.
A spokesman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that the man shot randomly and three people suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Casino security and bystanders were able to subdue the gunman before police arrived.
