“Laguna Beach” Star Receives Three Years Probation

Life may no longer be a beach for Jessica Smith, the former cast member of MTV’s popular series “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County,” after a judge ordered the 19-year-old to perform 80 hours of community service spend the next three years on probation.

In March Smith was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after she crashed her Volkswagen Beetle into another vehicle. Despite being arrested for a felony DUI she had the charges reduced to a misdemeanor because the injuries to the passengers in the other car were not serious.
