Allen Iverson was ordered to pay $260,000 for his role in a nightclub dispute that ended with two men being beaten by members of his entourage. The Denver Nuggets guard was found to be negligent for failing to control Jason Kane, Iverson’s bodyguard.
While Iverson didn’t play a physical role in the fight members of the jury found that he was responsible for the actions that led to the incident that occurred two years ago at a Washington club.
According to reports Iverson’s entourage beat Marlin Godfrey and David Anthony Kittrell for not leaving a VIP section in the club. Godfrey was awarded $250,000 for pain and suffering and collected another $10,000 for his medical bills.
