Toyota's Active Headrest

Toyota has improved on its already stunning safety record by  introducing the active headrest. It reduces the intensity of injuries  from whiplash that commonly occur in rear-end collisions. These  headrests have not yet been implemented in their cars but will soon be  introduced in their fleets.

Both the seat and the headrest moves forward to counter the force of  an accident and effectively supports a passenger's head and lower back.  This reduces stress on their neck.

The severity of whiplash injuries are decreased by 10-20% according to initial testing by Toyota's own evaluations.

It is recommended that the consumer shop around and look for deals through websites like ToyotaCarsForSale.com.
