Super Bowl XLIV Recliner Winner Announced at GoWFB.com
2009 marks the season the New Orleans Saints won their first ever National Football League Championship after over 40 years in the league. Also celebrating is Debbie of DebbiesFavoritesBlog.Blogspot.com who won Wholesale Furniture Brokers' Super Bowl Recliner Giveaway contest by submitting the closest final score prediction for the Saints- Colt's game last Sunday. Debbie of DebbiesFavoriteBlog.Blospot.com said, "My final prediction for the score is Saints 34 Colts 17. No particular reason - just a guess! The Saints want this win SOOOOO badly and I hope that they get it!" The final score of Super Bowl XLIV was 31-17 in favor of the Saints. This is the 3rd straight year that Wholesale Furniture Brokers conducted the recliner giveaway contest in preparation for the Super Bowl. Super Bowl XLIV was held last February 7, 2010 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida pitting the National Football Conference (NFC) champions, the New Orleans Saints, against the American Football Conference (AMC) champions, the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints came in to Super Bowl XLIV with a 13-3 record for the 2009 regular season, compared to the Colts' 14–2 record. The Saints won the game via a come from behind victory after the Colts led the first three quarters at 16-17 with the Saints finally taking the lead on the fourth quarter to win at 31-17. This is the first Super Bowl appearance and the first ever win for the New Orleans Saints franchise since it first joined the league in 1967.
