Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo Reveals Pictures Involved in Blackmail Attempt.
Appearing on NBC’s “Today” show on Thursday Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo opted to show the world the photographs that were allegedly being used to blackmail her into relinquishing her crown.
Describing the photos as presenting her “not in a ladylike manner” Polumbo explained each picture and the context in which it was taken. A picture of her boyfriend jokingly biting her breast through her shirt, a picture of her in a limousine with her legs spread, and a Halloween photo where she holds two pumpkins to her chest were all shown for viewers to see.
While they pictures may be a bit embarrassing most don’t believe the photos are enough to strip Polumbo of her Miss New Jersey status.
Polumbo went public with the story that someone was trying to blackmail her, threating to distribute the photos unless she resigned her title.
A meeting is scheduled later today between Polumbo and pageant officials to determine what, if anything will be done about the situation.
