Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson out of All-Star Game

Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson have decided not to play in the NBA All-Star Game this upcoming Sunday. Bryant has been recovering from an ankle injury since last week, when he collided into Philadelphia 76ers' Elton Brand. The injury has kept Bryant out of the Los Angeles Lakers’ past three games, and he has decided that he will not be ready for Sunday’s game. Iverson will miss the game because one of his young children is sick. Jason Kidd of the Dallas Mavericks will replace Bryant, while David Lee of the New York Knicks will replace Iverson.
