Frank Thomas Announces Retirement

Former Chicago White Sox player Frank Thomas called a news conference today to announce his retirement. Further, the White Sox are expected to announce that Thomas’ number, 35, will be retired this summer. Thomas, who played for the White Sox, the Oakland Athletics, and the Toronto Blue Jays, told MLB.com that he spent last winter and much of this offseason waiting for offers that never came.
