Rudy Giuliani - More Cash than Mitt Romney

Rudy Giuliani has $3 million more than Mitt Romney for the second half of 2007. Giuliani has $15 million eligible for the primaries, $18.3 million total. All of Romney's money is available for the primaries $12.1 million.

Unlike McCain and Romney, Giuliani improved on his first-quarter fundraising. The largest benefactors were Ernst & Young LLP, Highland Capital Management LP as well as members of his law and consulting firms.

McCain's campaign is on the verge of collapse because of poor Q2 fundraising that forced him to cut down on staff. McCain's poll numbers are dropping as well. There was some concern that the criticism of Giuliani from New York firefighters would cause his campaign to go down. Time will tell but impressive Q2 fundraising should allow him to weather the storm. Money is that important.
