Jerry O’Connell and “Ugly Betty” star Rebecca Romijn tie the knot

Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn tied the knot Saturday evening in a quiet ceremony. The couple met in 2004 when Romijn was shooting her documentary ‘Wet Dreams.’

“We met Jerry at a party,” Romijn explains to PEOPLE magazine. “We told him what we were doing and he was like, ‘You’re making a documentary out of this? I want to be the boom operator!’ He was totally game.”

During a trip to New York in 2005, O’Connell proposed to Romijn.

“Rebecca and Jerry were married on Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony at their home surrounded by family and close friends,” Romijn’s rep said.

The 34-year-old actress wore a Ralph Lauren gown and Neil Lane jewelry. Romijn said it was a “perfect celebration” and they “couldn’t be happier.”

This is the second marriage for the “Ugly Betty” star and the first for O’Connell.
