"Sex and the City" men won't be in the movie says James Remar

The "Sex and the City" girls are reuniting to film a movie based on the HBO hit TV series "Sex and the City."

According to two "Sex and the City" actors, James Remar and Evan Handler, they probably wont be included in the movie.

"They philosophy of the show, as I understand it, is theses women move on. They don’t really go back with their old lovers, except Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) went back with Big (Chris North) all the time. That was her thing," Remar explains. "My understanding is the characters move on. If they are true to that, I don’t think you will be seeing me unless it is in a flashback."

Handler is not commenting on the new movie or whether he will be included with in it. He did say he was grateful for his time on the show. "It rejuvenated me in a way that introduced me to women. I had been more of a guy's guys for years in feature films. 'Sex and the City' brought me around to a whole new audience, and also allowed me to be funny, not just killing people all the time," he says.

Filming is scheduled to begin sometime in September.
