Mary-Kate Olsen set to star on TV for the first time in three years
Mary- Kate is set to be the new cast member on the hit series “Weeds.” Mary-Kate plays Silas’ (played by Hunter Parrish) new love. She says she plays “a good Christian girl” and her wardrobe always includes a cross.
“Weeds’ isn’t your eight o’clock family fare. It’s an adult show with adult subject matter, and we’re confident Mary-Kate is right for the role. She came in and read with Hunter, and was absolutely charming and real and seemed like a great fit. Audiences have only seen one side of Mary-Kate, but here, we’ll see her in a whole new light,” said the show’s creator Jenji Kohan.
The former “Full House” star will be featured in 10 of the shows the third season which premiers Monday August 13.
