Former “Destiny’s Child” collapses

Former “Destiny’s Child” star Kelly Roland collapsed on stage Sunday. Rowland, 26, collapsed in Lagos, Nigeria where she had been performing.

Her rep, Noel Schure, said the cause of her collapse was dehydration. She was rushed to a hospital in Lagos where she was treated. Rowland was in Nigeria for The ThisDay Music Festival. Other performers at the festival included Shakira, Mode Nine, UB40, P-Square, Rihanna, D’Banji, Ne Yo Asa, and Sasha.

Rowland recently release her second album after the break up of “Destiny’s Child.” Rowland is supposed to be returning to the U.S. on Monday to promote the new album called “Ms. Kelly.”

Rowland is said to be in good condition.
