IRONCLAD featured on FOX Morning News in Austin, TX.
Ironclad began destroying venues in December 2006, and have already shared the stage with such heavyweights as The Hidden Hand (Southern Lord), Kylesa and Honky (Small Stone). They recently release the debut EP "American Dream" and will be hitting the road to support it.

Ironclad is a new Austin, TX quartet set on breathing new life into the current Heavy Rock scene. Combining Black Sabbath groove and Led Zeppelin riffs with a hearty helping of Southern Rock and 80's metal, Ironclad is quickly establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with.
The brain-child of guitarist/songwriter Danny G (Southern Gun Culture/Shandon Sahm band/Velvet Brick), Ironclad has been a work-in-progress since late 2004. His goal was to hand pick the best of the best musicians from the local talent and put together a truly formidable rock band. After many auditions and failed starts, Javi Moctezuma (Icons of Industry/Signal-to-Noise) finally entered the picture in early 2006 and had the drum chops, charisma, and sonic charge to provide the heart beat to this project. After pouring through half of Austin's bassists, Danny got a call from Tim Casterline (The Dealers/Peyton Gin/Desinence) out of an ad from the Austin Chronicle. His huge low end and truly exceptional skills were exactly what Danny and Javi had in mind. But Ironclad still needed a voice: after many tried and failed vocal auditions, Stuart Smith (Tall), a San Diego CA transplant, responded to the call. His killer vocal talent, great attitude and vibe have put this band firmly on track with a completely original sound.
