Britney Spears to host LAX club opening

Britney Spears is set to host the grand opening of LAX nightclub on Friday, August 31 at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. The trouble pop princess has been a club regular since her completion of rehab in March.

Spears has also turned out to be a huge attraction with her short performances at the House of Blues. She successfully hosted a New Year’s Eve bash at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas which encouraged organizers to ask her to host the opening.

An LAX club rep confirmed Tuesday that Spears would host the opening. “Britney Spears will host the grand opening,” the rep said.

The ‘Toxic’ singer has been working on a new album but a release date and performance dates have not been released.
