Muller, 29, says she was “totally caught off guard” when Sheen, 41, proposed. “We were having a romantic dinner in the hotel room with room service when he asked me to marry him. I was thrilled. I smiled all night and kept looking at the ring because it was so beautiful.”
Mueller and Sheen were introduced by mutual friend, Rebecca Gayheart, in 2006. This will be the first marriage for Mueller and the second for the “Two and a Half Men” star. Sheen was married once before to actress Denise Richards and the pair has two daughters Lola, 2, and Sam, 3.
Mueller tells PEOPLE, “I definitely want a big wedding, but Charlie and I haven’t planned anything yet.” She goes on to say they aren’t in a rush to get married. “We just got engaged and both of us want to enjoy the journey right now. We really want to live this part of our lives.”
