Hillary Clinton To Speak To Black Journalists In Las Vegas

New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is all set to deliver a lecture at the 32nd NABJ Convention and Career Fair that will be held from August 8 to August 12 at Las Vegas. The venue of the fair is Bally’s Hotel and Casino where Clinton, who is a Democratic presidential candidate, will address a gathering of National Association of Black Journalists. This was revealed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Around 3000 media professionals are expected to attend the conference. Other prominent Democratic and Republican presidential candidates who have been invited for the convention include Sen. Barack Obama, former senator John Edwards, former governor Mitt Romney, Senator John McCain and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. All these presidential candidates will participate in a series of discussions with black journalists.

Some issues that are likely to surface include the current situation of the country, Hillary Clinton’s views on Black America and the roles and responsibilities of free and unregulated press.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for the presidential candidates to express their views and bolster their campaigns as they would be addressing thousands of African-American journalists from print, broadcast and media sectors.

Hillary Clinton also seems to be eagerly looking forward to the meeting. She said that she is looking forward to using the convention as a platform to share her passion for the nation. She wants to express her views and visions for improving the current state of affairs of the American people on issues like education, health care and racial equality.
