Mike Matthews Endorses Mitt Romney

Mike Matthews, who is the founder and President of Electro-Harmonix, seems to have elected his President well before the 2008 U.S. presidential elections. While publicly endorsing his support for Mitt Romney, Mike Matthews described Romney as the best candidate who can make a wide impact. Mike Matthews is a music veteran and a successful entrepreneur.

According to Matthews, all the current candidates in the 2008 presidential race have single-minded objectives. Rudy Giuliani is mainly focusing on terrorism, and Hillary Clinton is concentrating on getting reforms in the healthcare sector. In contrast, Mitt Romney has taken up multiple issues as a part of his campaign. Matthews seems to be impressed by the broad range of objectives and policies that Romney has taken up. Matthews feels that Romney can serve the country better as he would be working on different problems facing America today.

Matthews had once faced the consequences of inaction from certain current politicians. He was unable to garner support from both Giuliani and Clinton when his New York-based company was at a risk of a hostile takeover. Matthews feels that Romney is capable of solving a wide range of problems rather than exploiting the cause of the problem. One such problem is the energy crisis where Matthews wants Romney to initiate measures that can harness the vast reservoir of renewable energy present in the magnetosphere. Magnetosphere can be described as the region where the Earth’s magnetic field interacts with the constantly flowing charged particles coming from the sun at a speed of million miles an hour.
