Ron Paul Reaches Milestone On Internet

Ron Paul, a Congressman and doctor from Texas, seems to have struck the right chords in his presidential campaign. According to Kent Snyder, who is chairman for the Ron Paul’s campaign, Dr. Paul’s popularity has increased tremendously and his campaign is constantly growing.

Ron Paul, who is a Republican presidential candidate, has selected internet as the medium for his campaigning. Through his message for freedom, peace and prosperity all over the nation, Ron Paul has been able to generate around 20, 000 YouTube subscribers and 20,000 Meetup group members.

Ron Paul has always been a leading advocate of freedom. Some of his prime areas of focus are providing limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets and better monetary policies. Ron Paul is highly regarded among his peers for his judicious and consistent voting.

Ron Paul’s campaign on the YouTube now has 20,302 subscribers. Other candidates are lagging way behind Ron Paul. Mitt Romney is the second GOP candidate on the list with just 2,416 subscribers while Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate, has 8, 807 subscribers.

Another channel where Ron Paul’s popularity had skyrocketed is Meetup.com. Around 20,677 individuals from 428 cities across America have signed up for the website so as to participate in grassroots community activities. Till now, the members have been able to organize 1,127 events in support of Ron Paul. These events included walking neighborhoods, making signs and handing out literature. Ironically, Barack Obama was able to gather just 5,327 Meetup group members while Mitt Romney has a paltry 29.
