Ron Paul Asked To Explain Supposedly Racist Remarks In Newsletter

With his unusual method of campaigning, Ron Paul is one of the most searched topics on the internet today. Even though he is not the main contender for the 2008 U.S. presidential race according to media reports, his internet popularity tells an entirely different story.

Ron Paul, the Republican presidential candidate, has been able to attract many Republican supporters, independent voters and even liberals with his strong views on freedom, peace, prosperity and balanced foreign affairs. TCOOO (Taking Care of Our Own) bloggers are some of those people who are highly impressed with Ron Paul’s foreign policy. However, they want an explanation from him with regard to some of the racist remarks that were printed in his newsletter 10 years ago.

Vineyard, a TCOOO member, refuses to accept the explanation given by Ron Paul. This was compared with Jennifer Lopez’s statement after she used the “N” word in a song. According to Lopez, she was not responsible for the mistake as the song was written by another artist. Similarly, Dr. Paul had earlier stated that the racial remarks were made by a ghostwriter who used to write his newsletter. According to TCOOO, Ron Paul is responsible for whatever is being published in his newsletter as nothing could be published without his consent.

One of the prime objectives of TCOOO is to provide complete information and credentials of a Republican or independent presidential candidate whom they believe to be exceptional. All the information is provided to the vast Black community that has an immense impact on the popularity graph. Apart from this, TCOOO also focuses on various issues related to Black community. TCOOO bloggers feel that Ron Paul is definitely a candidate to vote for among the current Democratic and Republican presidential candidates.
