Ron Paul Favorite Among Libertarian Voters

A survey was recently conducted in the beginning of July to find out which presidential candidate was most favored by Libertarian voters.

 

Libertarians constitute a significant portion of swing votes which is almost equivalent to the number of Christian conservative voters. According to the results, Ron Paul, who is a Republican presidential candidate, has taken a clear lead over rest of the presidential candidates. The survey was conducted by LibertarianLists.com.

 

This was an online survey where email addresses of the respondents were used as the primary controlling mechanism. Around 1,995 people responded to the survey, out of which 69.62% gave Ron Paul the thumbs up. Ron Paul’s campaign is obviously working as his name was recognized by quite a few respondents. Out of 92.68% people who recognized Ron Paul’s name, 71.33% had a very positive opinion about the Congressman. While 15.19% had a positive to fair opinion about him and 2.96% were neutral. Around 3.21% of respondents had a mild to very negative opinion about Ron Paul. 

 

Ron Paul’s popularity on the Internet is because the average person can identify with him and his policies. In fact, Ron Paul’s candidature has been supported by 53.98% Republicans, 72.24% Libertarians and 70.59% independent voters. He even received the support from 27.08% of Democrats and Greens who responded to the survey.
