NBA superstar LeBron James will showcase his off the court skills on the season premier of NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
After leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals James has had a busy offseason. The 22-year-old guard shared hosting duties for the recent ESPY Awards on ESPN and has been preparing for the U.S. national team as it gets set for the FIBA Americas tournament which acts as a regional qualifier for the 2008 Olympics.
By hosting the September premier LeBron will become just the fourth NBA player to ever star on the show. Bill Russell was the first NBA star to host the show in 1979, Michael Jordan followed in 1991 and Charles Barkley hosted in 1993.
