Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney Lead In New Hampshire

In a recent poll conducted by Maryland-based Research 2000, shows that Hillary Rodham Clinton might not be the most popular Democratic presidential candidate and Mitt Romney might not be the most popular Republican candidate. But for the moment, both Hillary Clinton and Mitt Romney are leading in New Hampshire.

Forty percent of Democratic primary voters actually view Hillary Clinton unfavorably. This percentage is the highest for any Democratic presidential candidate. The same was also true for Romney who is not viewed favorably at the moment by Republican voters.

With all this, Hillary Clinton is still leading the Democrats with 33 percent votes followed by Barack Obama with 25. John Edwards is third with 15 percent of the votes while Bill Richardson is fourth with 7 percent votes.

Mitt Romney is the leading Republican presidential candidate with 27 percent votes followed by Rudy Giuliani with 20 and John McCain was in the third place with 16 percent of the votes. Fred Thompson, who still has to formally announce his candidacy for the presidential election, was in the fourth place with 15 percent of the votes.
