Jessica Simpson reportedly wants Nick Lachey back

OK! magazine reports that Jessica Simpson says divorcing Nick Lachey was the worst mistake of her life. The singer/actress recently celebrated her birthday but was reportedly not happy. Her family tried to cheer her up but Simpson was still upset.

“It didn’t stop her from being sad. With her love life and career in a downward spiral, Jessica seriously fears that her success, both professional and romantic, was due to Nick,” a friend says.

Nick Lachey seems to have moved on. Although it has only been a year since Simpson and Lachey divorced, Lachey already has a serious relationship with Vanessa Minnillo. The couple was recently photographed having sex in a hot tub while vacationing in Mexico. Lachey has been fighting to keep the pictures from being splashed all over the internet and magazines.

Simpson allegedly thought the pictures where “tacky” and hinted that Minnillo knew the pictures were being taken.
