Amy Winehouse spits at and abuses fans at concert

Amy Winehouse’s bizarre behavior at Cornwall’s Eden Project on Tuesday left fans disgusted. The 23-year-old ‘Rehab’ singer sang two songs and then ran off stage for no apparent reason. She appeared again but stumbled over the words of her songs, mumbled cuss words, and constantly rubbed her nose.

Winehouse’s odd behavior continued as she began slapping herself in the face, hitting her head with a microphone, and abused audience members who tried to help. After she began spitting on the audience, many fans left.

“It was a bizarre performance. She was disoriented, disinterested and disheveled. I paid a lot of money because I was a huge fan- but I am not anymore,” one fan said.

The singer blamed exhaustion after she cancelled a series of shows over the last couple of weeks. After cancelling one show because she said she was took sick to perform, she was spotted out with husband Blake Fielder- Civil drinking in a London pub.
