Usher takes legal action to shut down his biggest fan website
Usher has taken legal action to shut down his biggest fan website because the owner, Erika Jackson, does not care for his fiancée Tameka Foster. “Usher has had his lawyers send her papers,” a source told the New York Dailey News newspaper.
Foster is rumored to be the reason behind Usher firing his manager which was his mom, Jonetta Patton. The rapper and publicist Simone Smalls parted ways as well as his representative Chris Chambers.
Chambers openly disapproved of the letter Usher released to fans stating his disapproval of their opinion of foster. Usherforever.com called the letter “petty.”
“It’s disturbing that the media and bloggers (under the guise as ‘fans’) continuously speculate on the personal aspects of my life. I am happy, excited, completely clear and independent in my direction, feelings, decisions and I am NOT BEING LED,” the 28-year-old rapper stated.
Usher is also rumored to miss the August deadline to finish his new album. Usher’s rep and Jive records deny that a deadline had been set. “That information is not accurate,” Usher’s rep stated.
In June 2007 Usher announced he and Tameka Foster were expecting their first child together. The baby is due in the fall and will be the first for Usher but the fourth for recenlty divorced Foster.
