Lindsay Lohan’s new movie cancelled due to her post-rehab partying

Lindsay Lohan’s new film role has been cancelled due to her recent post-rehab partying. The ‘Mean Girls’ star checked into rehab in June after she crashed her car into a curb and police found her blood alcohol level above California’s .08 limit.

The 21-year-old was released from Promises rehab center in Malibu on July 13; only days later Lohan was seen parting with friends in Las Vegas. Producers of Lohan’s new film “Poor Things” put filming on hold until Lohan was released from rehab.

Now it seems producers are canceling the film because due to concern over Lohan’s partying. Fontaine Beauchamp Hebb, the set designer, has reportedly emailed product vendors telling them the movie is no longer happening.

“Poor Things has been cancelled. Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but I just received a call from Jacky Gilardi, the producer, pulling to plug on the ill fated film. Apparently, Ms. Lohan’s antics in Las Vegas over the weekend have scared the bond companies and all the funding has been pulled. I look forward to working together in the future and trust our next project will not be as fraught with difficulty.”
