The latest CNN/Opinion Research Poll shows John Edwards polling at just 4% among African Americans in the state of South Carolina. John Edwards was born in South Carolina but grew up in North Carolina.
Despite the Demographic advantage that John Edwards should have, he has lost most of his traction among the African American community. As a result, the candidate needs to boost his image among African Americans if he is to have any shot at competing against Hillary Clinton who beats out Barack Obama among African Americans in South Carolina, 52% to 33%.
