Victoria Beckham says she already love Los Angeles and prefers it over Madrid. Beckham and her soccer star husband, David Beckham, moved to Los Angeles a week ago with their three sons; Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz.
“We’ve loved every minute so far,” Victoria says. “I can’t see us going back. I already feel so much happier being in Los Angeles. This feels like a whole new start for us as a family.”
The couple moved to America after David signed a contract with the American soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy. They caused a media frenzy when they arrived in Los Angeles and continue to attract the media’s attention. The former Spice Girl had her own one-hour special titled “Victoria Beckham: Coming to America.” The show did not get good reviews but Victoria responded with, “I don’t care. I’m not here to break America. I’m here to support David and sort the kids.”
“We can leave the negative stuff from Spain behind. The four years there weren’t always easy,” she said. She adds that they “didn’t have much of a social life,” but in L.A. “everyone seems to want to come out here to see us.”
The couple's friends, Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes along with Will Smith and his wife, are throwing them a “Welcome to America” party.
