Pregnant Man Thomas Beatie Pregnant a Third Time

Thomas Beatie, dubbed ‘The Pregnant Man’ two years ago when he became the first known transgendered man to get pregnant, is expecting another child. Beatie, who underwent a sex change but kept his female reproductive organs, and wife Nancy are reportedly expecting their third child.

Beatie, who legally lives as a man, gave birth to their daughter in 2007 and to their son in 2009. Nancy is unable to have children due to a hysterectomy. The couple used Beatie’s eggs and a sperm donor to conceive their children through artificial insemination.

Beatie’s story was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2007.
