Bright House Networks Becomes 2010 Presenting Sponsor for 4th Friday Clearwater

4th Friday Clearwater is a collaborative event spearheaded by the Clearwater Downtown Partnership (CDP). For the 1-year period from February 1, 2010 through January 31, 2011, Bright House Networks will be the Presenting Sponsor for 4th Friday Clearwater events.

Last December was the 1st year anniversary for the downtown street parties called 4th Friday Clearwater.  Just one year before, the events commenced with their signature event called Miracle on Cleveland Street with around 2500 attendees.  Miracle in 2009 doubled that with approximately 5000 people, assisted by PSAs run on Bright House Networks.  To further help the cause of 4th Friday Clearwater, the Clearwater Downtown Partnership (CDP) is proud to announce that Bright House Networks has become the 2010 Presenting Sponsor for 4th Friday.

The CDP started 4th Friday Clearwater events in order to bring more feet on the street.  By having free fun for everyone, the purpose was to bring interest into the area in hopes that more restaurants and retail stores would see Downtown Clearwater as their home.  Over the past year several new restaurants have opened in the downtown core: Divino’s, La Cachette, Café Supreme and Casanova.

Bright House Networks ran PSAs for 2009’s Miracle on Cleveland Street helping to bring out a much larger crowd than the downtown had ever had before.   In a joint effort to help the area, the CDP and Bright House entered into an agreement to run PSAs for 4th Friday Events for 2010.  Bright House also provided financial assistance towards the events’ operating expenses.

Richard Riley of Riley-productions.com agreed to create professional 4th Friday spots pro bono for the CDP.
