Cherokee, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHKE) has entered into three new exclusive license agreements with Hudson Bay Apparel Brands. Hudson Bay is a subsidiary of Scope Apparel. Cherokee has granted Hudson Bay the exclusive rights in the United States to its Men’s and Young Men’s woven tops, bottoms, and swimwear. The company also granted Baby Togs exclusive rights in the United States to Boys 0-20 woven tops, bottoms and swimwear. Getracan, Inc. was also granted exclusive rights in Canada to Men’s, Young Men’s and Boy’s 4-18 knit and woven tops, bottoms, and swimwear.

Cherokee Inc. is a licensor of brand names and trademarks for apparel, footwear, and accessories. Cherokee owns several trademarks, including Cherokee, Sideout, Sideout Sport, Carole Little, CLII, Saint Tropez-West, Chorus Line, All That Jazz, Molly Malloy, and others. As of January 31, 2009, it had 18 continuing license agreements covering both domestic and international markets. In addition to licensing its own brands, Cherokee also assists other brand-owners, companies, wholesalers, and retailers in identifying licensees or licensors for their brands or stores. The Carole Little, Saint Tropez-West, All That Jazz and Chorus Line brands, and trademarks are recognized women's brands.
