Alex Rodriguez reached 100 RBIs last night in a 9-2 win against the Kansas City Royals. He is the first player to reach 100 RBIs in less than 100 games since Manny Ramirez did it with the Boston Red Sox in 1999. The last Yankee to reach this feat was Lou Gehrig in 1937.
Alex Rodriguez leads the major leagues in home runs (34) and RBIs (100). His 498 career home runs put him on the pace to become the youngest player in history to reach the 500 home run plateau.
