G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo pleads not guilty to attacking a 14-year-old boy

“G-Unit” rapper Tony Yayo declined an offer for 9 months jail time for pleading guilty to attacking a 14-year-old boy. Yayo allegedly hit the boy back in March and pleaded not guilty to charges of assault, harassment, and endangering a child. He is currently free on a $5,000 bail.

The boy, James Rosemond, son of manager of The Game Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond, told police Yayo hit him “causing (his) face to strike the door of a building.” The boy said he suffered from a headache and earache.

Yayo’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, said “The prosecution’s nine month offer is one Tony vehemently rejected. It’s not even a good offer for a guilty person, and Tony denies the allegations absolutely.”

G-Unit includes 50 cent, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck.

The case has been adjourned until September 6.
