Metal Stocks Moving Up (VALE, AKS, US Steel MT, CLF)

Several Steel stocks are trading up on Tuesday, as commodities are moving higher on weak dollar.

Vale (ADR) (NYSE:VALE) jumped 3% to $27.70.

AK Steel Holding Corporation Co(NYSE: AKS) jumped 4.70% to $22.70 on higher volume after AK Steel said it will increase spot market base prices by $50 a ton, effective immediately with all new orders for its carbon steel products.

United States Steel Corporation(NYSE: X) rose 4.20% to $50 on higher than the average volume.

Arcelor Mittal NY Registry Shar (NYSE: MT) shares gained 2.22% to $38.26. Last week, the company's lower-than expected earnings on an adjusted basis and guidance prompted a selloff in the stock and drove down its share price.

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc Co(NYSE: CLF) jumped 5.50% to $48.42.
