2010 Winter Olympics Results Biathlon Women’s 10KM Pursuit: Magdalena Neuner Chases Down Gold for Germany
Magdalena Neuner captured gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver on Tuesday after finishing the women’s biathlon 10km pursuit in 30:16.0. The gold improves on Neuner’s effort in the women’s 7.5km sprint, an event in which she took silver.
Tuesday served as a touch of revenge for Neuner as she edged Slovakia’s Anastasia Kuzmina who settled for silver. It was Kuzmina who grabbed gold in the 7.5km sprint.
France’s Marie-Laure Brunet took bronze on Tuesday as she finished in a time of 30:44.3.
