New manufacturing data and subsiding concerns over the Greek Crisis had investors adopting more bullish attitudes today. The market opened high and continued to improve Tuesday, with the Dow Jones industrial closing up 169.67 points or 1.68 percent at 10,268.81.

Elsewhere, the tech-laden Nasdaq composite saw improvements of approximately 1.40 percent or 30.66 points to 2,214.19. The Standard & Poor tacked on 19.36 points or 1.80 percent to close strong at 1,094.87.

The developments marked the best single-session percent improvements in three months.
