Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow are set to play husband and wife in the upcoming movie ‘Dirty Tricks.’ The pair, who previously dated for over three years, will play in the political drama that is based on the after effects of the Watergate scandal.
Pitt and Paltrow will play John and Maureen Dean and Jim Broadbent will play President Richard Nixon. John Dean was the White House Counsel to President Nixon during the Watergate scandal. Dean became deeply involved in the scandal and the attempted cover up.
The scandal occurred in the 70’s when it was reveled President Nixon and his staff carried out crimes including fraud, political espionage and sabotage.
Filming of the movie is set to begin in December.
Paltrow and Pitt starred in the movie Se7en together. Paltrow once said she regretted breaking things off with the actor. She is now married to ColdPlay singer Chris Martin. The couple has two children, Apple and Moses.
Pitt is currently with actress Angelina Jolie, and they have four children -- three adopted and one biological. They met on the set of their movie ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith where they played husband and wife.
