Victoria Beckham to play on ‘Ugly Betty’

Victoria Beckham, ‘Posh spice,’ is set to play in the upcoming season of the ABC comedy ‘Ugly Betty.’ The British singer is set to appear in a wedding episode of ‘Ugly Betty.’ “There’s a wedding dress involved. There’s a wedding involved with her storyline,” said the Ugly Betty producer. He jokes, “But we want her husband (David) on set. It’s one of the requirements.”

The Beckham’s recently moved to America with their three sons after David signed a contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.

One 'Betty' star, Becki Newton, who plays Amanda, says she hopes her character and Victoria don’t get along. “Amanda is going to be like, ‘I’m not standing next to Posh because she’s too skinny. She’s gonna make me look fat.’ Amanda’s gonna take her down.”
