“Bachelorette” couple welcomes first child

Trista Sutter and Ryan Sutter, who fell in love on “The Bachelorette,” had their first child Thursday. The couple was married in December 2003 after they fell in love on the ABC show.

Trista gave birth to a baby boy named, Maxwell Alston Sutter, in Vail Colo. A rep for the couple confirmed the birth. Maxwell weighed in at 5 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 18 inches long.

“He’s perfect and beautiful, and everyone’s doing great,” Trista said.

Trista, a purse designer, and Ryan, a fireman, announced they were expecting in February. “It took us a long time to get pregnant so it makes it that much sweeter,” Trista said before their son was born.
