This isn’t Gore’s only run in with the law. In 2000 he was written a ticket for going 97 mph in a 55 mph zone, which suspended his driving privileges. In 2002 he pleaded guilty to a DUI charge and in 2003 he was put on 1 year’s probation for possession of marijuana.
To avoid serving time in prison, the former vice presidents son will enter a rehab program for 90-days. “This is what anyone coming off the street would be eligible for. Gore didn’t get any more or any less than anyone else,” said a Susan Kang-Schroeder, and Orange County District Attorney spokeswoman.
