David Beckham is ‘frustrated’ because he has already missed playing three games with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team. The soccer star moved to the United States with his family after he signed a contract to play for Galaxy.
Beckham was expected to debut at the game against Chelsea, but an ankle injury limited him to playing only 16 minutes in the game. The ankle injury has not completely healed, preventing him from playing in the SuperLiga tournament in Dallas on Tuesday night. He also missed two other SuperLiga games against Pachuca and Chivas.
Frank Yallop, the Galaxy coach, said on Monday, “He’s not out here, so he’s obviously not going to Dallas with us. He’s very frustrated. I feel for him, really, because he wants to get going. If it’s up to him and it wouldn’t hinder his injury, he would come with us. But because of flying, all of us said that he just can’t do that. We want him to be getting ready to travel with us on Friday. That’s the thing he’s aiming for.”
