The new was first released on The Daily Swarm which cited several industry sources confirming the attendance of Lady Gaga, Green Day and Soundgarden at the event. It was also said the once the full Lollapalooza lineup is announce three additional headliners will be named.
The 2009 Lollapalooza was the third highest grossing music festival in 2009, receiving gross proceeds of $14,082,461 and held 225,000 people in attendance over the sold out 3 day festival.
