Britney Spears legally single

Britney Spears has finally been legally divorced from Kevin Federline. A Los Angeles court finalized the divorce yesterday. After less than three years of marriage and two sons later, the couple finally came to a legal agreement that they are reportedly happy with. 

The troubled pop princess and aspiring rapper will have joint custody of their two sons. “I think she is okay with the terms. I think they were each hoping they would have more custody time, but hopefully that can be worked out,” said Spears’ lawyer, Laura Wasser. The financial agreement seems to leave Federline with the best end of the deal. He is reportedly going to receive $35,000 a month from Spears.

The couple married on October 6, 2004 and Spears filed for divorce on November 6, 2006. Spears seemed to lose control after her split from Federline. The ‘Toxic’ singer shaved her head and entered rehab for a alcohol problem. She has reportedly had numerous meltdowns and continued to have bizarre behavior on more than several occasions.
