Starr Tincup, the marketing firm for providers of Human Capital software and services, announced today the release of their HR Psychographic Research Survey. The survey is designed for all HR Practitioners and seeks to map their defining characteristics by asking questions about political leanings, personal hobbies, work habits and professional growth patterns.
This survey will help Starr Tincup define the make-up of HR Practitioners in terms of who they really are on a personal and professional level. Questions range from the tame, “What is your current position title,” to the specific, “What was the last HR industry event or trade show you attended,” to the typically taboo, “For whom did you vote in the 2008 US Presidential Election?”
Participants in the survey will receive the Executive Summary as a thank you for their info.
“We want to put a face to HR,” says William Tincup, principal and co-founder of Starr Tincup. “There are so many myths and misconceptions that exist around HR like ‘they’re all crazy cat owners who attend knitting conventions.’ We want to help dispel those by painting a more accurate picture. That’s why we’re asking questions that surveys don’t normally ask.”
The survey can be found on Starr Tincup’s website or accessed directly at www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22A85XFS8LS.
“The most important thing is obtaining thorough, honest participation,” says Tincup. “Of course we want a comprehensive picture of HR in order to better serve our field, but really, this survey will help the industry as a whole.”
